Me who thought I was a classic “autumn woman” in colorimetry by seasontime and experience have taught me that in practice, the reality is a little more subtle – and that my complexion (especially in winter) unfortunately accommodates a slightly narrower range of tones than I I believed it.

While waiting to one day be able to offer myself the services of an image expert, who could certainly give me clearer answers, I am learning to determine the colors that highlight me the most throughout my tests… and my mistakes !

I recently understood, for example, that even in the autumn range, tones that are too bright, too pale, or that lean too much towards yellow-orange do not look the best on me. But I also acquired essential knowledge, which is gradually transforming my wardrobe: fairly rich but soft colors with pink (under)tones tend to make me look good.

Armed with this very useful observation, I fell for a vintage coat this weekend in a splendid chocolate color (slightly blushing) after long weeks of searching for the perfect shade. 50 euros for 80% wool made in Italy, who could say better?!

Although it is not quite as long as I initially envisioned, it nevertheless seems to me to match my complexion as well as my favorite scarf. And what a pleasure to wear these kinds of delicious tones when it’s all gray outside!

I feel – I hope – that it will stay with me for a long time.Raspberry Chocolate

My pretty mismatched (but not too much!) festive earrings come from the new one – the ethical jewelry brand I often tell you about.

The concept is very simple but ingenious: the curls are offered individually, so that everyone can make their own composition by combining different models (small and large curls, studs and dangling curls, hoops, silver and gold, etc.) . I find the idea particularly clever if, like me, you have several piercings on the same ear, or an odd number of holes.

As usual, all Aglaia & Co jewelry is made in France in know-how workshops from quality and durable materials (silver or gold plated, which I even keep in the shower and which does not move at all! ), and 5% of the purchase price is donated to an association of your choice.
