Memories

My outfit today is one that is full of stories and memories – mine as much as those of others before me, that I like to imagine.

My darling quilted jacketwhich you see regularly for example on my Instagram account, is here: it is a military parka lining from the US Army which dates from the 70s, and which I spoke to you in more detail here.

The little knitted cotton top is undoubtedly one of my best recent thrift store finds, as it resembles the little retro-inspired tops that popular Parisian brands (Sézane, Balzac Paris, etc.) regularly offer in their catalog – generally for quite tidy sums. . This one only cost me €15 for perfect condition, and I feel like it will be a sure value in my spring-summer wardrobe!

I also found that day my tiny leather bag for 5€ – just enough to carry a few cards (CB, tram, etc…), a little lip balm, my keys, some chewing gum, and that’s about it, but what’s is cute !

My jeans is also a real gem: I received it fromAnnie Jeans, a small brand that I have been following for a few months for their very attractive concept. Instead of using new denim fabrics, their pants are all made in France exclusively from old Levi's jeans: the latter are unstitched, possibly dyed, then cut / recomposed according to the brand's own patterns – in the manner of the Re-Done brand in the United States, but more affordable.

I LOVE the cut of the model I chose: super comfortable, fitted to the pelvis without being too tight, it offers a beautiful slightly bootcut and cropped effect, with a raw edge. The result is flattering, super current, and it's honestly one of the jeans that suits me best in my entire collection. If you are looking for jeans with a very low ecological impact, I recommend this brand a thousand times over, and I myself will not hesitate to turn to them in the future!

Finally, I added a touch of my own story in my outfit thanks to the range of. This brand of ethical jewelry that I have worn every day for two years is 100% made in France in know-how workshops, and very qualitative in both gold plated and silver: even when I go months without removing my bracelets and rings, neither for showering, nor for sleeping (which is not recommended at all), they do not move!

This is the kind of durability I was looking for to pay tribute to Maddox, a little dog who passed away last month: I chose , with a classic cable chain and a medal with a pearl outline, engraved with his name. The result is elegant, discreet, perfect in accumulation with other necklaces – a very pretty souvenir. And as with all Aglaia & Co jewelry, 5% of the sale price is donated to an association of your choice, which I always appreciate ♥︎
